The Victory Home Curriculum Victory Home provides a structured curriculum utilizing materials adopted by Freedom in Christ Ministries. The first segment is called Victory Over the Darkness by best-selling author Dr. Neil T. Anderson. It is a five week course in which the student will learn about living triumphantly in a world where the powers of darkness rob people of the abundant life. Victory Over the Darkness shows how we can overcome that darkness by knowing who we are in Christ. The Victory Home Student can realize the power of his identity in Christ and be set free from the burdens of his past. This curriculum will allow the student to win the battle of his mind and discover the truth about how God views him. The second segment of curriculum is also by the same author. The Bondage Breaker is another five week course focusing more on the why's and how's of spiritual warfare. It reveals Satan's battle for a person's mind and how people can take steps to find freedom in Christ. The last segment of curriculum is called Freedom From Addiction written by Dr. Neil T. Anderson, Mike Quarles, and Julia Quarles. This curriculum will complete the final ten weeks of the student's stay at Victory Home. Freedom From Addiction is a Christ-centered model for recovery which applies "Steps to Freedom in Christ" in the lives of the student. The book opens with the gripping and powerful testimony of how God delivered the lives and relationships of Mike and Julia Quarles from Mike's self-destructive addiction to alcohol and Julia's enablement and fear of his condition. At Victory Home, we feel that God is leading us to utilize the experience of Dr. Anderson, Mike, and Julia Quarles to minister to the needs of our students. We are excited about utilizing their scripture-based study materials to heal men's lives, restore broken relationships, and set people free.
