 Application Process

If you are interested in coming to Victory Home, here are the steps you must take:

Step 1)    You might want to call us to schedule a campus tour, and pick up the application kit.  We can mail the application kit to you, or you may download the application.

Step 2)    Complete the application, and then mail it back to us with a non-refundable $25 application fee.

Step 3)    You must have lab work done within the last 45 days of your proposed intake date and forwarded to the Victory Home Intake Counselor.

  • Tuberculosis Test
  • Hepatitis A, B, and C Screen
  • HIV Screen

Step 4)    If you are currently incarcerated, on probation, or on parole, your probation/parole officer must send us a Criminal Background Investigation or “Rap-sheet” on you.

Step 5)    If you are unable to pay $100/ week, contact the Victory Home Director to schedule a telephone appointment

Step 6) After we have received all these items (application, application fee, results of lab work, rap sheet, and approval of your payment plan) we will complete our review for eligibility.  If declined, you’ll be given a specific reason.  If accepted, you’ll be assigned an intake date.  We will not reserve you an intake slot until all of items 2 – 5 have been completed.

Step 7)    On the intake date you will need to bring the following items:

  • Medical Deposit ($100) used to purchase incidental medical supplies that you might need.  Whatever portion remaining in your medical account will be refunded when you leave Victory Home.
  • Security Deposit ($150) – The deposit is used for any additional expenses that are incurred including damage to property, outstanding balances, etc.
  • $50 Curriculum/Book fee
  • The first weekly payment of $100
  • We do not detox.  You cannot be admitted to Victory Home unless you have abstained from drug and alcohol use for at least 72 hours prior to intake.
  • Bring clothes to work in, as well as clothes that can be worn to church.  We’ll provide towels and linens.
  • Bring a heart that is willing and wanting to change.

Financial Responsibility
The actual cost for your stay at Victory Home is $5,000 or $250 per week. However, this cost has been reduced to $100 per week through contributions from the Habersham County United Way and Christian people who love the Lord and desire to help you find freedom from alcoholism and drug addiction. Our supporters and staff members are willing to invest their time, resources, and talents into your recovery so we are asking that anyone applying for the program have a COMMITMENT to finish it and a DESIRE to overcome their lifestyle. In turn, when you graduate, we expect you to help others receive the same benefits you received.

We prefer that a payment of $100 per week be made while you are going through the program. However, no one will be turned away for their inability to make immediate payment. During the intake interview the applicant will discuss with the director a reasonable timed-payment options. After leaving Victory Home, we will expect a monthly payment, as well as a letter reporting your spiritual progress.
