If you are interested in
coming to Victory Home, here are the steps you must take:
Step 1) You might want to
schedule a campus tour with us, and pick up the application kit. We
can mail the application kit to you, or you may
download the
application.
Step 2) Complete the
application, and then mail it to us with a non-refundable $75
application fee. We will not accept faxed applications.
Step 3) Upon receipt of
your application and application fee, we will order your Criminal
Background Investigative Report. Once the report is reviewed and
approved, you will then be instructed to have lab work done.
Step 4) Submitted lab
work results must be within 45 days of your proposed intake date,
and mailed to the Victory Home Intake Counselor. Only original
printouts are acceptable; we do not accept photo-copies or faxed lab
reports. We require the following tests:

Tuberculosis Test
·
Hepatitis A, B, and C Screen
·
HIV Screen
Step 5) After we have
received all required items (application, application fee, and lab
results) we will complete our final review for eligibility. You
should allow 3-4 weeks for this process because lab work can take
2-3 weeks for the results. If you are declined, you will receive a
letter stating the reasons for your declination. If approved, you
will be assigned an intake date and time. You must then send us a
non-refundable $500 payment to reserve your room. This payment will
be applied toward your weekly fees; or forfeited if you fail to show
up for your scheduled intake. Note: Intake dates are established so
that we bring in a group of new residents on the same date, to form
a small group and work through the twenty-five-week curriculum
together. In instances where a resident is admitted before his group
intake date, he will be responsible to pay for the extra days of
supervision prior to his class start date.
Step 6) On the Intake
Date you will need to bring the following items:

Medical Deposit ($150)
– used to purchase incidental medical supplies that you might need.
Any unused medical deposit will be applied to any outstanding
balance on weekly fees or refunded if resident account is up to
date.

Security Deposit ($250)
– used for any expenses incurred due to damage to property. Provided
you do no damage to property, this deposit will be applied to any
outstanding balance on weekly fees or refunded id resident account
is up to date.
·
Curriculum Fee ($100)
– covers the cost of books, workbooks, and printed material for your
curriculum studies at Victory Home.
·
We Do Not Detox
– You cannot be admitted to Victory Home unless you have abstained
from drug and alcohol use for at least 72 hours prior to intake. If
we determine that you have used drugs or alcohol within 72 hours of
your intake date, you will not be admitted to Victory Home and will
forfeit your room reservation fee ($500).
Financial
Responsibility
We prefer that your fees
be paid weekly or monthly as incurred, so that we can pay our bills
as they are incurred. Limited financial assistance may be available
through the application.
